Commissioned by The One Minutes Foundation, in the scope of their series on freedom - this short is a somewhat subversive take on the theme, using the idealised notion of free intercontinental travel as starting point. From the excruciating, endless waiting for luggage, to the uniformed airport workers at the tarmac, who conduct physical security searches on each other - this highly institutionalised routine of restrictions and security theatre could not be more contradictory to the global ads which celebrate our alleged freedom to "go anywhere we like - anytime we want".

Shot en route from Amsterdam to Tel Aviv.
