Created for a protest platform against the Invasion of Lebanon in 2006, this short film shows the other side of so-called 'low friction conflicts'. It presents carefully calculated technological development, conducted for the military industrial complex. The reality of waging wars and maintaining conflicts on a local scale as "regular" means of ensuring that this complex expands and continues to make enormous profit, is an issue which is rarely addressed by the media - and consequently kept from public awareness.
By appropriating footage of advanced technological tests, this work suggests to re-examine the reasons - not only regarding the Israeli invasion - but regarding all contemporary acts of warfare in general.
